Mitteleuropa

With the beginning of the 20th century, in Europe, the search for synthesis, stylization, prevails over the analytical design that was typical of nineteenth-century graphics. The new illustrator is attentive above all to the distribution and the strength of the lines, to a qualification of the space not perspective, but two-dimensional and decorative. The illustrators become the protagonists of the so-called "tasket" Art Nouveau. For this collection of crystals we have extrapolated some details from original drawings of the various Koloman Moser, Otto Wagner, Mila von Luttich, Lajos Kozma, Alfred Roller, Julius Klinger, Otto Andri. These decorations were later brought back to flat glass plate, using the refined acid engraving technique. Thus was born the Mitteleuropa collection, a sober and refined proposal that can satisfy all the needs in the field of interior architecture. It is a fair tribute to all those artists, painters, graphic designers and architects, who helped to give birth to this season that was the basis of many future developments of the avant-garde and artistic currents of the twentieth century, from Expressionism to Futurism to Rationalism.
