Our range of coloured floats include an extensive variety of colored paste glass, from classic Bronze and Grey to more refined colors such as Blue, Black, Pink and other refined shades. The color is intrinsic to the glass and intensifies as the thickness grows, from soft in the 2mm it becomes more intense as a hand until 19mm.
The possibilities of use are the most varied. Their strong aesthetic and technical characteristics, in fact, make colorful floats both decorative and technically performing products. They are used in interior design and design, in construction and in industrial sectors such as naval and automotive.
In the building industry, the qualities of solar control and thermal insulation are exploited, more or less high depending on the coloring. When assembled in insulating glazing with low-emission glass, they allow depending on the configuration to achieve different purposes: filter light and heat for the most selective products, or give internal comfort to the rooms while maintaining natural light for those with higher light transmission.
The transformation is simple and the opportunities extended: stratification, tempera and thermal hardening, curvature, drilling, etc. are all feasible to obtain the desired result.
